Presidential Succession Crisis:

How Does Our Constitution Handle the Transfer of Power?

Purpose of this Activity: To understand what constitutional rules are in place to handle a crisis for the Office of the President and rules for removing a sitting President from office.

What happens if the President dies while in office? What happens if the VP also dies? What if they die at the same time?

What happens in other cases where the President is unfit or unable to serve?

Could Trump or any other future President be removed from office for simple incompetence, not necessarily, "crimes and misdemeanors" mentioned in the Constitution.
